4. AI Processing and Data Analysis
Our Service employs artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to provide personalized recommendations and insights:
4.1 AI Processing:
- AI features analyze your task completion patterns, habit tracking, and the content you submit to generate insights
- When you use AI features, your prompts and relevant context are sent to the AI provider you select (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI) to generate the response
- We do not train our own AI models on your data
4.2 Data Analysis Safeguards:
- AI requests include only the data needed to answer your request
- AI providers process your prompts under their own data processing terms
4.3 AI Transparency:
- The Service indicates when content is AI-generated
- You maintain control over AI-driven features through preference settings
4.4 Google Account Data Is Excluded:
- If you connect a Google account, your Google Calendar and Google Tasks data is never sent to any AI provider and is never used to train any model. See Section 5 for the full disclosure
5. Connected Google Account Data (Google Calendar and Google Tasks)
Connecting a Google account is entirely optional. WisdomPulse works fully without it, and you can disconnect at any time from Settings. This section describes exactly what Google user data we access, why, how it is used, and how long we keep it.
5.1 Scopes We Request:
- Google Calendar events on calendars you own (calendar.events.owned): to place your WisdomPulse due dates on your calendar
- Google Tasks (tasks): to mirror your WisdomPulse reminders into your Google Tasks list
- Basic profile and email address (userinfo.profile, userinfo.email): to show which Google account is connected and to match it to your WisdomPulse account
5.2 What We Access and Write:
- Google Calendar: we create calendar events for the tasks, habits, goals, and projects you choose to sync, and we update or delete those same events when the underlying item changes or is removed
- Google Calendar: we do not read, list, import, or analyze events that WisdomPulse did not create. We only act on events we created and whose IDs we stored
- Google Tasks: we read the names of your task lists so you can choose where reminders go, and we create, update, and delete the reminder tasks WisdomPulse manages
- Google Tasks: we do not read the contents of tasks that WisdomPulse did not create
5.3 What We Store:
- OAuth access and refresh tokens, encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM
- The Google account email address associated with the connection
- The identifiers of the calendar events and Google Tasks that WisdomPulse created, so we can keep them in sync and remove them later
- We do not copy your calendar or task history into our database
5.4 How This Data Is Used:
- Solely to provide the calendar and reminder sync features you enabled
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it
- We do not use Google user data to train any AI or machine learning model
- Google Calendar and Google Tasks data is not sent to our AI providers. The AI features described in Section 4 operate only on the content you create inside WisdomPulse
- Human beings do not read your Google data, except in the narrow case where you explicitly ask our support team to investigate a sync problem, or where required by law
5.5 Sharing:
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, other than as necessary to provide and secure the sync feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition in which the receiving party honors this policy
5.6 Retention and Deletion:
- Tokens and the stored event and task identifiers are deleted from our systems when you disconnect the integration or delete your WisdomPulse account
- Disconnecting asks Google to revoke the grant, and deletes our stored credentials
- If Google cannot be reached at that moment, the disconnect still completes on our side, so you can always confirm or revoke the grant yourself at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Events and tasks that WisdomPulse previously created remain in your Google account unless you remove them, and Settings offers a bulk removal option
5.7 Limited Use Commitment:
WisdomPulse’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
